About
I’ve been a resident of Paekākāriki for over two decades.
I’ve raised a family here, been involved in the local arts scene and countless community organisations. I love Kāpiti and the creativity and opportunity that thrives here.
Over the last 18 years I’ve been a part of local Community Boards, Council and as Deputy Mayor from 2016 to 2022.
I have an Honours degree in performance cello and a Masters in Composition, and I am a qualified Resource Management Chair.
I’ve been on the National Policy Advisory Group for Local Government, the Electra Trust Board and I’m currently the Regional Representative on WellingtonNZ.
Today, I’m based in Paekākāriki and still love to perform music locally when time permits!
I also enjoy the outdoors and you can often catch me on one of our local walking tracks, or swimming at the beach.
